Title: Join Stripers Forever
Post by: CapBob on February 29, 2008, 10:03:34 AM

There is an organization dedicated to making the Striped Bass a Game fish to protect them from commercial fishing.

Stripers Frever member ship is free, just go to
www.stripersforever.org

If you agree with this member statement it is for you:

"I agree that wild striped bass should be managed for public fishing only throughout their range. Making the striper a gamefish will provide the greatest number of people with high-quality recreation and the opportunity to harvest a fish for personal consumption. I understand that membership is free and that I will be contacted by email to inform me how to help make our shared goal a reality."

I've been a member for the last 6 years, they give a lot of good info to members

I have a question. Why are the South Carolina regs. 10 fish with no minimum size? Most other states have 2 fish at 28" or something close to that.
