I used to hate blue fish. was a non believer that you can cook it and it not be fishy and strong. well my friend proved me wrong...he cooked this side by side with striper and I could not taste the difference. only could tell by the color. recipe follows.
cajun spice
combine equal parts garlic, onion powder/ hungarian paprika old bay, salt pepper to taste and a pinch of red hot pepper powder..mixx all together well. crush a sleeve of saltines in a ziplock bag. beat a couple eggs. put crackers, eggs and a bowl of flour for dredging the filets in separate bowls. add cajun spice to all bowls and mix in
make sure filets are dry and cold dredge in flour, dip in egg, cover in cracker crumbs and fry in pan with 1/2 inch of canola or corn oil untill lightly golden brown
I like to serve with mac and cheese and a fresh tomato salad
dang iam hungry :)

That receipe would also work on sea robin and dog fish! If you taste any fish just double up on the hot pepper and garlic....
