Went out tonight around 5:30 right off the Somers Point side of 9th St. Bridge.
Water temp was 45 degrees. Wind was rough, 15-20 miles per hour.
Stayed out about 75 minutes and took in 55 clams. Not great, but not bad.

Nice, when's the clam bake? TT^

Ahh, to live in an area with open clam beds. It's a pain to get down to IBSP from the Manasquan River to clam. Hopefully I'll have the boat in LBI part of this summer so I can do some clamming.

Are there areas of Barnegat that you can clam all year?

Pub199 is the only place around here to get them. But we can go after dark.

Yep, the clocks went ahead a day or two before you went, gave you an hour more of daylight. t^
