Came across these searching around Ebay. Seeker blanks custom wrapped by this guy. Cost with shipping around 15 bucks more than a factory built Seeker (no matter what his ad says, they dont sell for $225)
No mention of reel seat brand, guide brand, etc. Maybe I'll contact this dude and see what the story is???
By the way, all his ads start with "fantastic"

HONESTLY... too much money
-
I would pass on it also, It seems he's trying to hard to get them sold.. I personally use Chaos rods from Fla.. Just got my new order today.. nice to get a little sponsorship!!!
-
for that kind of money you can get a great blank ,if you are looking for a great custom rob check out robs rod and reel from this site ,I got to see his work and it is great
-
Didnt think that price was over the top. A Seeker BA85 goes anywhere from $125-$140 online, so his price isnt to far off.
Want to get a custom tog stick done over the summer - whos Rob?
-
Bogans Rods start around $165-$300 takes about 3 weeks.. if you looking local??
-
the thread wraps seem nice. the only if i would have about that rod is the reel seat. i personally only like full aluminum seats. if the guy did a good job with guide placement then 120 isnt a bad deal at all. personally, i couldnt get that rod done for you that cheap. he does state that he is a rod builder, if you purchase this rod i would expect that you should get a lifetime warranty on components from the guy!!!! that way you can be sure the dude is confident in his work.

I agree Rob does awesome work, He built me a spiral wrap rod for fluking and Stripers. I couldnt be happier..

bustedknucle,
you end up getting this rod???
-
Hey is your website back up???
-
should be by the end of the week. it takes a while when you have a family member doing it for you for free. i really cant yell at him to hurry up. haha.
if you need anything, just ask...
-
Never got the rod. This guy puts a ton of em on Ebay every week though. I thought the ad was interesting considering his prices werent over the top compared to factory wrapped rod.
Really want a custom tog stick for the fall. Gonna get in touch with ya soon, maybe have it built sometime over the summer??
Also have some questions on a PB tuna stick, That'll be for another post... ::)
