Was goofing around with my old boats cushions today. Was trying different cleaners on it. 3M product and household cleaners. The best thing even better than the 3M product was liquid dishwasher soap. Its thick so it clings. I put it on with my finger but a paint brush would probably work good. Let it set for 5-10 minutes and rinsed it off. Anyone ever try this? If you have post a comment. If you try it let me know how it worked for you.

Dishwasher soap is strong stuff. t^
I use it to clean of my patio furniture in the spring. t^
It does work great. TT^
I recommend wearing gloves while your scrubbing though. TT^

I have a nice buildup of birdshit on my cooler cushion in bow from the dead peanuts last summer when the birds were everywhere feeding on them. Still wasn't able to get it all out when I put the boat away.
I will give it a shot this spring. If that don't work, it's softscrub with bleach.

Its cheap compared to marine cleaners. If it doesn't work in the dishwasher it goes.
Put it on heavy and let it set. One other things it doesnt suds up.

It works great on many things especially white because many of the products have bleach in it. Make sure you rinse it well as it might eat at the threads in the stitching.
