We headed out early this morning (despite the stiff winds), with Ralph, Doby, Rich, and Greg. Along the bumpy ride we came across tons of gannets and lots of marks. Anchored up in 20 ft and nothing for 20 minutes. So off we went back to the spot from Saturday. Didn't really see much life but tried anyway. 20 minutes later, the first bass hit the deck of the UnReel! The sporatic light bite continued for the rest of the day and we ended up boating 48 stripers with one 28 inch keeper on clams in 11 ft! It got really nice around 10:30, the bay was flat as can be.
The weather looks great for Thursday 3/27... Anyone wanna go?
We have some spots this weekend too.
