Got out for a shot at the winter flatties for the AM trip.
Fish did not cooperate today. Capt tried the north end of Barnegat and shifted to the river near the PP Canal; and ended near the island west of the inlet. About 12 fares and one keeper flounder caught...luck would have it I was the one who caught it TT^ ...walked off with dinner for me and the pool.
Nice to get out and post a report.......the water was still a bit cold....hopefully the bite will turn on soon.
