Angela Rose hosted Phil, Mike, Bill C., Bill E., Jack, and Brian for a full day flounder trip.
Again, we fished the South side of the Point Pleasant Canal in depths between 4 and 9 feet. Water temps today climbed to 46 on the outgoing tide. We saw stiff SW winds which killed the morning bite. We only had 1 fish until 2pm and then once the winds diminished, we had a flurry. We stayed out longer then our trip was planned in order to boat almost a dozen fish. It was all tide play today that pressed the bite. Mike took over 2nd place in the Monthly Pool with a 1.10 lb. mudback and Bill E. took over 5th with a 1.6 pounder. Good Job Mike and Bill.

Fished with Capt. Anthony today! The day started out quite interesting! The Capt. did everything he could to put us on the fish. Once he found them, he and mate Andrew put in extra hours to keep us on the bite. A good time and some fish in the cooler.
Thanks!!!
