Percy is an oldtimer who has been making castnets for many of the commerial guys from SI.  He will be some shows over the winter, when Sal Cursi gives a seminar.  His nets are custom made and are $200.  Pretty much the same as eastcoast nets.  They are just getting more advertizing because Charlie Kay is really pushing them lately.  Many charters from jersey use persy nets.  Haven,t thrown mine yet but if know one gives any input I will in a couple of weeks.

Young gull

Do you have any luck getting bait when they are holding in deeper water with the percy net.  By deeper mean over 20 ft or even when holding in the channel like in early spring.
