Stray Cat fished the OC reef Wed. and today The fish were there but the pick was slow. Today was better and by late afternoon we had a few slobs. The fog was thick and light winds mad anchoring a challenge. But we got the job done. There were about eight fish over six lbs. and the was action all day today. We only had 5 guys so there was plenty of fish for dinner. Tomorrow Mackerel, then back to the Reef in the afternoon, Water temp. 46.7 Seas calm Ground swell 4'. Nice day. TT^

Nice report Capt. You were the first one I heard mention mackeral. Did they show up down your way or are you just figuring on hunting for them for the first time this season?
