Well first off, some how Jason got an early release from his house arrest (mom has a soft spot in her heart I guess ::)). So he joined me today on the Misty Morn.
First 2 drops were on the Keyport Flats for a dreadfully slow pick-although I did manage to put 2 nice flundies on ice. Tide turned and we now had an incoming tide pushing against a brisk west wind :'(. Moved to the east and made our final drop on the Keansburg Flats. Had a nice shot of fish for about 45 minutes.I added another 2, Jason caught 1 and we took one off the chum pot ;D) for a total of 6.
High hook was 7 t^. Pool winner was in the 16.5" range and full of chum.
Bait De jour for me was 'ham & eggs' (clam strip & sandworm) although I did catch one on the snot (mussel).

nice to add the extra from the pot TT^

Way to go that extra "chum pot" mile t^

Good going Doc. I am sure Jason will do better this marking period. ;)

nice to add the extra from the pot TT^
Yea, those fish are a nice extra bonus TT^.
Funny thing though in years past I could always count on taking an extra 3-5 fish off the pot but this was our first this year & we didn't get any last year. Maybe the flounder are getting smarter 5hrug.

Nice going TT^
T and I were out on the Sea Hawk. She managed 4 keepers and took the pool ;D
I could only manage 2. Missed at least 5 good bites :-\ was way off my game. A few onboard had 3-5 keepers. A few with none :P

I missed one bite myself on Sunday bngh. It's funny, I caught 4 but all I can think about that night was missing that 1.
Only 1 out of the 4 flounder I caught bit agressively.
Conditions were tough most of the day Sunday once the tide turned and we had wind against tide.
Might be back it again this coming Sunday.

Of course today the Sea Hawk had a boat limit TT^
