Youngull, this is the bunker spoon I was telling you about at the party. It is the only one I found so far and got it at Scotts Bait and Tackle in Tuckerton last year.
There is a read head on a swivel that is about 8 oz or so. This should replace the use of the wire line.
Anyone seen one like this, and what are you thoughts.
-
Looks like a good idea. t^

Nice design. How long is it, and how productive was it? <'((((><

Have seen them, never used them......wonder about the spoon action with the weight on it?

Negative Capt, never seen one. Looks abit difficult to keep from spinning, but not a bad idea.

Looks like it will spin instead of wiggle... 5hrug

I was thinking the same thing. Best thing to do is run the boat at trolling speed, set the spoon in the water alongside the boat and watch the action. If it pleases you, go for it. t^

i to am concerned about how it will affect the action of the spoon. i would thik it would interfear with the sweeping motion,, but try it as joe said,, if it works run with it.

Wire TT^

when ya pull bunker spoons or shad rigs, you have to use wire line, I don't care what kinda contraption is put ahead of it!
For the right action of the spoon, for it to run right in the water and for it to get the right depth, that wire helps immensely!

Looks like a crippled alewive with a mojo head. I think the DelMarVa folks use these.
