Title: Out on a Limb... Raritan bay flounders 4-16-08
Post by: The Broken One on April 16, 2008, 08:24:23 PM
Jumped on board with my buddy Capt Jr today... along with One on Don, Walleye Wally -- aka Da Gas man, Scrubby.... and One half of the Hanson Clan......

Anchored up just outside the fleet down the back and picked fish through out the morning though not as good as the previous week..... once tide went slack and incoming it got even tougher..... though we did get a few.... The skates were ferocious at times even very aggressive on the baits feeling like flounder chews......

Twas a beautiful day to be out and having good people around you is a plus....

Thanx for da day Jr.... and thanx for the company boyz.......

boat finished up with 40 flatties... most of the fish coming on fresh clam strips and or ham and egg combo......

forgot to add that I got the first bass of the year on the OOL and the jumbo was released unharmed ....
