Title: 4/17 Raritan Bay Flounder
Post by: mgm on April 17, 2008, 04:12:24 PM
Went out on the SH from PA with 36 fellow fishermen.

Fished mainly the outgoing most of the day with drops at the Ammo pier, Keyport flats and the Round Shoals off of SI.

Beautiful weather, wind kicked up a bit in the afternoon; but the fish did not cooperate today.  Barely any life at all. Didn't see allot of net action from the fleet either.

6 keepers on the boat for the entire day, and I was lucky enough to get one of them.  It also happened to be the pool winner t^ ; so it made my day.

Don't think the flundys are finished, just one of those days today.

A couple of buddies were out yesterday on the flats and both had their limits, including 5 short stripers on clams.
