Title: Penn 975 LD

Just bit the bullet and picked up 2 of these babies.

Also bought 2  Tsunami 7.0 XH poles to seat them.. Now I have something for deep water..

and to troll me new Tman Lures

OH  and if I die someone stop my wife from selling them for 100$ each. t^

Good luck with the 975LD, Hotrod. . I bought myself one for Xmas and used it all season with some power pro 50lb test. I am happy with it. Its very smooth. I bought 2 T-man 18" tubes too and have been having better luck with the Stretch 25's when trolled together. Maybe the tubes will do better in the fall.  chrz chrz

Did you check the action with them alongside the boat to make sure you are at the right trolling speed for them? Lures need a certail trolling speed to get them working properly.  The T-man lure may need a different speed than the stretch. t^

damn hotrod, awfull nice set up you picked up there. i'd go 175 per for those from the wifey.

 i love mine and i'm sure you'll love yours. best part is you got to use them before actually buying them t^

Yea Eddie.  I think they are a tad slower than the stretches..  we'll haver to ask t-man..
