Title: LBI FLUKE REPORT 6/15/08
Post by: MissBeachHaven on June 16, 2008, 07:37:37 PM
Fishing on Sunday tough conditions no wind or current pretty much impossible to anchor so we decided to drift I don’t think we drifted a quarter mile all day. WE did catch some sea bass a good amount of short fluke and several keepers High hook today and pool winner was John Cheseman with 3 nice fluke his biggest fluke was 8 #.We will be fluke fishing from here on in through the summer. Starting June 25 we will be sailing every day Monday –Friday1/2 day fishing and 3/4 day on weekends.

Nice report. Fishing is tuff all around when there is no drift.
At least with bottom fishing you are not moving off of your spot too quickly when drifting.

Good try Capt.  we can't always be on the bite. No matter how much electronics we carry.
