Today was John Tuckers birthday and with all his help in the boat yard and the beautiful weather we took a ride for some stripers.
headed out around 6:30 and played on bunker pods for a couple of hours from bay head to belmar with no takers.
snagged a few more and headed out to deeper water on some scattered reading of bait bass and doggies.
Managed to land our 4 bass limit with the largest going 25lbs weighed at reel seat. lost a bunch of others on light gear and one slob lost to getting run over by another boat 5hrug. Dog fish were fierce at times.
beautiful day on the water!!!!
Give a call if interested in a striper trip (morning or evening). With the load of bunker they should be around a little while more....
Happy Birthday John!!!
