Last sunday I fished the west reach and caught about 2 dozen shorts with 2 keepers in about 4 hours. The fish were hitting in the middle of the channel in 46 feet of water on the incoming tide. The bait of choice was spearing and squid and it seemed like the fluke were hitting the spearing more than the squid as usual the sea robbins were a nuisance but provided consistant action. Luckily we pulled into the slip right as a heavy storm came in.

Nice report. Spearing worked decent for us this weekend too. t^

Nice. The flukies are liking the gulp too.

About three weeks we used gulp minnows and they worked well I find when the water warms up natural bait works alot better than artificial.
