Left the dock with JohnnyOz, Andy and Lou aboard today. South wind kicking up pretty good droping the water temp to 58 degrees. Started out drifting for fluke. Scored some shorts and skates. A couple of dog fish and smoothie dogs also in the works.
Made a move further south and found a pod of bunker. Snagged a few and set them out. Not a thing touched them. Also had some fluke lines out and JohhnyOz boated a 19" flattie.
Had a major bunker pod surround the boat.

Still nothing touched our bunker.
Ended the day with only the one keeper fluke. Many throw backs, skates and some doggies. JohnnyOz was a little too quick with the fillet knife for me to get a pic at the dock.
Will try again tomorrow if the weather cooperates. t^

Sounds good to me! We have to talk... I will put in a huge bait order as well. Let me know if you would like me to get you any thing for the season.

Joe,Those are some nice readings on the graph bet.56 to 66ft.That South wind did funny stuff to the eating habits.
Get em next time.

AJ, the numbers on the left are for the water temp. There is a light blue line that goes across the screen giving the reading. That line is not visible in the pic. The water temp was 56.
The numbers on the right are the depth. You can see the fish mark starts out at about 15 feet and drops down to about 24 feet. We were surrounded by bunker at that time.
It is a pretty picture. ;D
Nothing at all hit our lines except for the bunker bumping into them.

nothing worse than fish on the screen and none on thebite...very frustrating I know... good luck next trip... if you get any nice blues this week keep one or two for that shark trip...

Without a doubt we will do that. Got a bunch of bunker in the freezer already for that too. TT^
