Had pop OB out today leaving port about 9:30. Rounded SH bay and made the best of limited moving water at the TC and 20 can. Constant action of shorts (variety of sizes mostly very short some just 17"). Used white SPRO today due to sun conditions in lieu of Chartreuse but experimented with it. White won out. 1 Keeper to report near the TC. Most fish taken on teaser with Killies. Wind shifted a bit. Moved to terminal nearest the safety zone. Long cross channel drifts produced many more short and 1 more keep. Most fish found in deepest water although this keep in 30ft on the edge with the chartreuse gulp 4" minnow on the teaser. Beautiful day. Back at port by 2:00.
No pics.

not bad, next time put some effort to the Reach channels, they are close and loaded with fish. I think the TC gets too much action, boat traffic, etc.

Nice report. Lotsa action and some for the grill. t^

LS3,
Agreed the reach definitely is more productive! It was one of those experimental days and I decided to stay close so as not to miss the water movement. TC was loaded up with the headboats. Should have spent 15-20 min more travel time and worked the reach. There's plenty of fish are there.

the start of the reach isn't to far, but well worth the trip. stay either in the middle of the channel, or drift the channel edges. Half of last weeks keepers came from drifting buoy 9 and 10 of the reach.

Thanks for the heads up slt

and believe it or not, dragging a single large killie on a bare hook produced more then anything else.

Nice report Pilot, and some keepers for the table.

Nice report. Depending on conditions you may want to round the Hook- a lot of bait funnels thru there followed by the target fish- only a 5min ride from the TC
