I think they all must have moved up here, because man there are a ton of them by me this year. Nice ones too. When we drop lines off the dock we are pulling up sometimes 2 or 3 at a time. Best time is around dusk by me.

We always throw back the females....hopefully we won't find ourselves in the same predicament our southern brethren find themselves in...  5hrug

crabbing is actually my favorite past time.  Used to do it all the time in Manahawkin when we had a summer home down there.  Now i will be trying the Seaside area for some good spots.  I am debating taking my boat out of the water and trailering it to that part of the bay for crabs, during my vacation.. first 2 weeks in August.  Not sure yet to leave it in the slip, or move it down.

I have a weekend home in Seaside Heights, so I go down very often.  Since I am on the beach side, I don't do any fishing or crabbing down there.  i will usually go to my boat that sits in the AH marina.  If i have access to crabs without towing my boat down, thats great.  I will keep in touch and thanks for the offer.

Hey Nick, would your tin boat work for that? I don't remember what motor you have on it, but it would be a usable size, if I remember right.

its a 14' with oars and trolling motor.

If I had a small gas engine, I would do it, even though I will get swamped by the weekend warriors

I hear ya about the weekend warriers.

That boat would make a decent back bay boat though, with a small motor on it. Perhaps Rugman can hook you up with one at a reasonable price.  TT^

yeah, I don't want to spend alot of money since all extra money I get goes into the Luna Sea.. a cheap, working 9.9 would be great.
