Post by: PHIL on July 31, 2008, 03:27:03 PM
Hey does anybody know of a radio for the house that will give me the marine forcast such as wave height, tides, etc. plus also weather alerts for my area such as storms, wind, etc. and just the basic weather forcast in general. If you do is there a website. Thanks guys. grtn slt

just get a cheap, ship to shore radio and hook it up in your home.  If you close to the water, you will also get everyone who is on the water for live updates.

Like Nick said, get a hand held. It will work at home and take it on the boat with you incase the one in the boat fails.
You can also call 609-261-6600 Hit 6 for Sandy Hook. You would have to listen for other
areas.

I would take the 20 - 35 NE any day,  Off the surf thats bassin weather, bring it on... t^

The problem would be if I was ewxpection the NE wind it would probably be out od the south and die down to 5 - 10... :P

I don't know if anyone mentioned it...you could always buy one of those Weather Alert Radios which has 7-10 Channels for weather.  They are relatively inexpensive as well!
