Not much of report, but took my GF's 12 yr old out with his yak in Bonita behind Brig and drifted for flounder up and down the channel during the outgoing. Used hi/lows with fin-S and Gulp swimming mullet. Only boated 2 shorts apiece. The flatties were not aggressive, but we did find one hole where we were at least getting constant hits, just very little hook-up action. Felt like they were just swiping at the bait instead of inhaling it. It was good to see him getting up to speed with his boating and fishing skills...I'm sure he'll be outfishing me soon. TT^

Ya got to love it when that happens but we can't tell them that... chrz

Nice report. It doesn't take a youngster long to learn. I guess they don't have all that stupid stuff in their head yet like we do. TT^

Isn't that the truth! You hit that nail right on the head! Kids don't have all the hangups and stubborness that us adults have. We are set in our ways and don't like to change to often making it harder to learn. I think kids outfish us adults too for some of the same reasons...they usually don't OVER think it!!!!!
Nice report and a great time fishing!! Sounds like a ton of fun out there in the Yak fishing away. It is GREAT when they outfish you...means that have a great teacher!
