Had Sean Gill from NewJerseyHunter.com and his son Sean Jr. and stepson Jeffrey, my father Joe Sr. and Darren Stiles out today for fluke. Started in the fog for a slow pick on the lumps and hard stuff in 65 feet off Shark River Inlet.
OK fishing...11 keepers to 21". 20 nice throwbacks. Some nice 19 and 20" fluke Mostly on squid and large spearing. I jigged a 17 1/2" fluke on a Spro with Gulp that spit up a whole 7" squid! Water was gin clear.
The kids caught some nice ones and everyone had fun. Great weather after 9:30 am.
Will be back out there tomorrow.
