Title: IBSP 8/21/08
Post by: ChrisL on August 21, 2008, 01:50:13 PM
Went out to the park from about 5:30am till 11am this morning.  Worked from A10 all the way to the pocket and back up and had the tide coming in the whole time.
Pretty much same conditions as Paul reported yesterday.
Had one short fluke early and saw one large robin thrown back.
The birds were working a couple spots pretty hard, but well out of casting distance (where's ken with the Rocket when you need him).
Around 8am the wind shifted and brought the flies out of the bay.
The dredge is still working the inlet.  Only a couple people on the rocks, and most of them were busy trying to jank their snagged rigs off the bottom.
Beach wasn't crowded, but it was early.  On the way out, the traffic going is was backed up 3-4 blocks north of the park.
Beautiful day out there.
