Finally got a chance to get out and do some fishing today! TT^ Didn't have the whole day to go out, so I decided to jump on the Gambler's 1/2 day trip this morning. Unfortunately I can sum up the fishing with one word...
SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW! (http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/images/smilies/addsmilies/smilie_bett.gif)
There were about 50 fares today. There were maybe a dozen fluke landed on the boat and only four of them were keepers. I bounced my bucktails all day and wound up with 2 fluke (one keeper), one skate, and one snagged in the belly bergall. The pool fish was around 4 lbs.
Stopped in to see my buddy Chuck at Gates B&T at the inlet. He said its been that way all week. He got out Tuesday with the guys on the Norma K and they had about the same luck as we did today.
In any case, it was good to finally be out there jigging up a couple, at least. ;D
Can't wait for the striper jigging to start! (http://www.sportfishermen.com/board/images/smilies/newsmilies/2119.gif)

Hey Ron,
I wouldn't worry about it too much. October 18th is a looooong way away. I bet you'll do great! Good luck! t^
I'd love to get out there myself one day.
Take care,
Bob
