Title: Fish Monger 8/28 fluking trip
Post by: Capt -Jerry P on August 29, 2008, 09:46:06 AM
Headed out with Dave and his group.

Went north and setup nice drift, but no bites.

Fished from s.rocks,lb,seagirt and klondike

Only had 5 keepers one of which was 6 1/2 lbs. not many shorts either, just lack of bites...

Frustrated and disgusted with the bite yesterday. fish just had lockjaw for us.

Talked to a few boats south and most complained of similar results.

One of those days.

You cant be the windshield everyday Jerry. Sometimes you're the fly.  ;)

Wasn't for lack of effort it sounds like. Those are some serious gallons you burned trying to make it happen.

Still not a bad catch Capt. The catching was slow, for whatever reason the bite was way off.  :P
