power pro to swivel, swivel to 24" leader

whs Tie your teaser onto a 12 inch leader tied to the same swivel. Don't be afraid to throw different things besides the Fin S . <'((((><

thank you for the info guys. once again you guys rock

i have had success with the 12/24 combo discussed above, yes braid to swivel to baits/teaser
also try lengthening the primary to 36-48" keeping the teaser 12-16" will work depends..
mix it up see what works

I like to use a three way with a #two hoodk with a leader and the sinker has to be two foot away t^

Everything that was already said!!
What type of fishing are you doing...boat or surf/shore??
I find it very harder to control anything over 24", especially with even the slightest easterly wind. Makes for a long day of untangling and for a lot less casting. Although, many people throw more than 24" with no problem 5hrug!
BTW Welcome and Good Luck!

The only thing I would add is to try a fishfinder rig with a 24" leader they work great. You might have to make your own though, not hard to do... t^

it seems like overkill but use 5 feet of 60-80 lb mono. tie your teaser about ten inches from the knot. use a surgeon's knot to form the loop you will attatch to your running line. If you leave one tag end at like i said 10 inches, and the other at about 4 feet, that is perfect.

That is a good idea, especially if you are using braid. Even if you aren't using braid, the shock leader is always nice to have. That 4 feet or so of shock leader gives you a little extra something to either grab or have that extra power you may need if you need to land a fish. I have been using the blood knot that Darthbaiter recommended...works great so far!

i don't know how long it is, but i also use a long shock leader. five to six loops around the spool through to the terminal tackle. i fish spinning gear.
i use a uni-to-uni knot for the connection. is that okay?

Sure, that is all the blood knot is, minus 1 step. DarthBaiter posted it a month or so ago and I tried it. It is a little easier and seems just as strong. However, the uni-uni knot is as good if not better!
