Title: TOOK A BREAK FROM TREE RAT HUNTING (TROUT)
Post by: rugman on October 09, 2008, 04:11:31 PM
Took a break from hunting tree rats and I hit the Rockaway river . The state stocked some big ones . They were not feeding to much . I did hit a nice 4 pound Brown and a nice 3 pound Rainbow. Great day to be fishing a river  t^

I see allot of deer, bear, fox and I think it's a coyote. Not sure about that. I only see it around 5 am, 1/2 south of the bridge, 2 or 3 times a month.

Are you guys fly fishing or spinning??  What lures are working best.  The part of the Toms River I am going to try is a TCA and Artificial Rule Only in effect!
