Title: Sheltered Cove or Great Bay Marina
Post by: Capt Ron B on October 23, 2008, 09:55:33 AM
If I get my new ride, I will have to leave my marina. I do want to stay in the Great Bay / LEI area.  Can anyone give me feedback on Sheltered Cove Marina in Tuckerton or Great Bay Marina in Mystic Islands?

I splash my boat there every season and have her hauled out. I also buy fuel and oil from them. Seems like a nice bunch of guys and a nice marina. You will have the closest access to the bay as that is the last marina in the creek before the mouth of the bay. Good luck.

I use Great Bay for the ramp and its nice to have a place to get good food right at the boat. Tom and Anna are some hard working people. Usually there is a waiting list to get in there. If you plan on overnighting and want to take a shower, Shelter Cove has some spotless bath facilities. Both places are kept nice. Two different sides of the bay. Matt.
