Fished Top of the Mast area tonight. water conditions were pretty rough. Walked the beach with a buddy plugging in impossible current, nada. Met my dad and uncle Set up around 18:00 with 4 rods between us at various areas in the pocket, all clams. Stayed through the tide change, and packed it in with the triple skunk around 22:00. Beach was pretty empty, didn't see anyone catch a thing 5hrug

Thanks for the report. I had a couple of friends out earlier today in the park and they were using plugs I tried to get them on the radio but nada. I did hear that the bass and blues were in and out earlier in the day with a northern migration.
To tell you the truth I don't think they (the bass) are sure if they should start going south or what. it is starting to turn into a very strange fall. The only good thing this year we are catching. I saw on Grumpys site that there was a good 37 inches caught yesterday. Not to shabby.
I am hoping to get out sat morning if the rain is not to bad. If not it is work as usual... :P

Good try...gotta love the reliability of the beach and surf fishing :P! You got to try out that new rod, at least! Weather is going to be pretty rough this weekend again...9-14 feet seas.
