Sent Dave an email, working a double today and tomorrow, going to hook up with him monday ;D......that windlass is great ;) ;), so much nicer..........I did take a tip from another who has the same and upgraded the switch that came with it.......he had problems with the stich over heating...........I also put a breaker in my Battery compartment, this way I throw it off when I shut down that battery as the winch is a direct wire, just did not want to take chances

I ordered it from power winch, cost about $22 i believe....also put in a differant circut breaker that I got at west marine.

The one that comes with the unit shuts down when it over heats and there is no reset until it cools. The one I got from West Marine trips out and you can re-set it.....I mounted it near the batteries and trip it off when I shut down for the day, being as the winch is direct wired I just don't like taking the care on a power drain

 ;)
