Here is my idea of relaxation and waiting for new conversation to start.
I try to tie a few new teasers or flies just to pass the time. I am running low and have been lazy lately so I have some catching up to do. Here is the pattern I am tying tonight.
This one has the black stripes down the side with a chartreuse back and white dear hair belly. The hook is a 6/0 circle. I am trying it out this year with pretty good luck. Simple but works well. Yesterday I tied ones with a black back also nice pattern.
My vice is simple but it works for me and well my desk is so cluttered I had to zoom in to hide the tying stuff.
I used the computer cam to capture this image sorry for the fuzziness.
Happy Catching

Nice...

Paul,
What kind of vise is that? Looks nice and simple, has great features and the jaws look like they are holding that 6/0 without a problem?

Hey guys,
Good Luck Art I hope everything comes out OK... rofla
The vice I have I bought originally from SRMO a couple of years ago. I looked on their site and they do not have it listed. Did some looking around this morning and found this.

It is not very expensive but I was able to get the whole kit with C-clamp and movable base. I can't fine a kit like that any more.
Granted it was meant for beginners but I have not been able to wear it out yet. I comes with 2 replacement jaws for different size hooks. All you have to do is adjust the knurled knob at the rear to the size hook you are using.
Good Luck.

Nice job Paul. Don't leave them in your truck. I may have to do a midnight raid one night if you do. TT^

They look good!

Yea I Paul I bought one of those starter kids for Drew many years back. Got it from Cabela's Samne deal extra jaws, book, much of different fly tying materials. Vice still works great. I think I might have payed 30 bucks for the whole deal. AS for what I do listen to music, crusie other sites, play Spider Solitair t^
