Title: Bacon Wrapped Grilled Fish
Post by: Pops Soul on November 24, 2008, 03:32:39 PM
I seen this recipes on Larry Csonka's show "North To Alaska" Looked good and looked like it would work with any thick cut white fish.
I might give it a try with some Striper. t^

Bacon Wrapped Grilled Halibut

1-2 lbs of Halibut (cut in chunks)

1 lb of bacon

Marinade:

1 Bottle SmokeeJo’s Datil Pepper Sauce

1-cup water

1 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 T Accent

1 T onion powder

1 t garlic powder

1 t All season pepper

Mix all ingredients well.  Marinate fish in closed container in refrigerator for 15 to 30 minutes; Wrap fish with bacon and stick a toothpick in it to hold the bacon, then grill until fish is flakey. You may need to soak your toothpicks in water so they don't burn.
