Left out of Manasquan Inlet this morning, loads of Bunker to the south. Filled livewell, no takers on livies or chunks.
Went out to Manasquan Ridge to see what was going on out there, Blues. Played catch & release for a while, keep one for some shark bait in the future, then was over run with DogFish,Could not even get a bait to the bottom to see if any Fluke were home. Tried a few other spots on the ridge, all Dogs!
Moved to some local rock piles and caught up some Sea Bass, Lots of short fish (Keepers last year), keep a few nice ones for the frying pan, and nice ling thrown in there too.
Went looking for some stripers again. Found good marks, again no takers.
Called it a day with dinner in the box. <'((((><
