Looks like Tom and I like fishing in the rain because we were out and it was pouring rain despite the weather reports of cloudy skies. We talked to a commercial rod and reel fisherman at the Atlantic Highlands ramp and were told the draggers did so well the last couple of days that they shut him down till July. He went on to say the price of Flounder dropped when the huge catch was brought in to the Point Pleasant area fisheries. As for Tom and I, we caught the skunk. Small Fluke have moved into Sandy Hook Bay and along with all the Sea Robins made for a busy morning returning fish. Trapping Killies in our usual spots are proving fruitless, good thing for Gulps.
