Title: Snapper fishing with the world against you
Post by: kingfisher on August 22, 2009, 10:47:50 PM
Today seemed like a good day to go snapper fishing..wrong!! My father and me left the house about 11:30 to catch the out-going tide. On the way to the area behind stop and shop we heard something banging around. So we pull over and found an L wrench in the tire and off to firestone we went!! When we got there the man told us it would be a couple hours to patch the hole up so we walked the 2+ miles home..but yet another surprise ...as i get onto the porch firestone calls and says your car is ready  rgmn... With drinks in our system now we took the bus downtown to firestone got the car and away we went. Got to the pier only to get 3 follow and 1 hit(myself).Had to cut the day short because of the heat so we got lunch and went home. At least we know they are there we could always kill them another day TT^

Thanks for the report.  Even though the day seemed in the pits, any day spent with your father fishing is priceless... t^ grtn
