Title: Capt.Ron/Fishermen/Saturdays Fishing
Post by: 1captainron on September 19, 2009, 08:16:26 PM
Very tough to say the least today. Not much current as we caught the last of the incoming and had to wait for the change of tide (which took forever)for anything to happen!!
Had a slow pick on some nice Bluefish, no Stripers. Couple caught on bait, couple on jigs, certainly nothing to brag about.  No cocktails for 3 weeks (until today's 3 scotch night). Landed 3, would have been keeper fluke on jigs...don't even get me going on that one!

Capt. Frank is out tonight with a boat load of customers, had fish on as soon as he came back on the anchor and it's been good fishing since....go figure!
All gaff size Blues up to 15 pounds. Weather looks great for Sunday, come on down.
