OUT WITH MY OLDEST SON AND A MY BUDDY BRIAN AND HIS SON JOE FOR A FATHER/SON BASSIN TRIP. AS SOON AS WE BROKE THE INLET THE HORIZON WAS BLACK WITH BIRDS WORKING. WE STAYED AWAY FROM THE CROWD AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND CONCENTRATED ON THE SOUNDER. 3 DRIFTS ACROSS THE SAME AREA NETTED SIX KEEPER BASS, 3 TIMES THAT MANY SHORTS AND A HALF DOZEN GATOR BLUES (SHARK BAIT). ONE FISH CAUGHT BY JOE WAS BETTER THAN 25 POUNDS AND WE RELEASED HER UNHARMED. AT 830 WE STARTED TO CHASE SOME BLUEFINS AND HAD SOME SHOTS AT FISH TO OVER 100 POUND BUT COULD NOT GET THEM TO EAT. BEAUTIFUL DAY ON THE WATER. GOD BLESS AMERICA AND GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!!! SORRY FOR THE CRAPPY PICS BUT THE BATTERY ON THE CAMERA WAS DEAD AND I ONLY HAD THE CELL PHONE

My son Ryan is a viking. He has been fishing and hunting with me since before he could walk. He has been on the boat in some pretty nasty seas when grown men were puking and he thought it was the greatest thing in the world.
