Title: Fish Monger Mon 11/30 Blackfish

Had Kenny, Paul, Arty, Chris Iroc, Bill, 5 man Crew today for a day of Blackfishing...

Headed out to a decent size heave out of the south... Got set up on where we had our best bites yesterday and couldnt get a good bite going. Picked a few keepers and a bunch of shorts... Made a few more drops only a couple more keepers and shorts.

Made another drop and we had some better life had a flurry of nice size keepers in the 5-7lb range... But after that we picked at a few more keepers n shorts..

Congrats to Kenny landed his first Blackfish and putting one in the box around 7lbs! Iroc had a load of shorts n 5 keepers...Everyone worked hard to put some fish in the Box...

Tough Bite, managed to box up 22 Keepers to 7lbs for the day...

Guys were a blast as always!!!

Wish it was better for us, hopefully tomorrow treats us nicer.

Capt Jerry & Capt Wayne great time as always even though I  was a Hack.

Know the old saying 1 day your the Dog & other days you are the Hydrant.

All those years of seeing and reading the Fisherman articles about Black Fishing and wondering what all the hoopla was about....  5hrug

Well, I found out yesterday and had a blast. Took me a while to get the swing right...caught a couple of small keeps/toss backs but I must have looked like a kid in a candy store when that 7 lber hit the deck. That was it for me.....I'm hooked.  TT^

As always, Capt. Jerry and Wayne worked their arses off and did an awesome job all day and despite the very scratchy bite I think we put together a great catch. Thanks guys!!!  t^

Paule, glad you made the trip, it was great fishing with you again... t^

Arty, great to meet you and fish with you as well.

Bill and Chris, also a pleasure to fish with you gentleman...

Not much more I can add to this except to say thanks to Capt's. Jerry and Wayne for a great time. You guys are a class act and 1st rate charter trip.! Hope to get out again soon and often with you guys. slt

It was nice to meet and fish with Art, Chris, and Bill, and fish with Kenny again whose humor and enthusiasm is contagious.

Congratulation Kenny on your first Togs and new addiction. And keep on talking to your crabs, that must be your secret trick  chrz
