Title: Mimi Wed Big Blackfish To 14 1/2 lbs!!!

Jigama Joe and Smokey Had the Mimi Chartered today... They were Nice enough to invite Wayne and myself along... The rest of the crew was great guys... Real all star cast!!!

Capt Kenny and Chris took us out to the deep water where the big ones live!!!
Some real nice blackfish caught today!!!

Bite started out slow and it was cold and windy making alittle tough to feel the bites... but a few fish started biting and the ones we caught were nice size one... Richy had one 10lbs and Tony Triggs had one that went 13 1/2 lbs both personal best. John had a nice turkey@11lbs... few other nice size boxers... I wasnt so lucky just one 4lb keeper for me on this drop. Action slowed up so off to our next drop!!!

Got set up on our 2nd drop and we had some good life right away... I boxed a keeper than 2 fish both around 10lbs...Bunch of other quality keepers came up... Capt Kenny dropped his rod in and bagged a monster at 14.9 lbs!!! Wayne got a 6lb and 11lber here and the crew boxed up a bunch more quality keepers.Finished our day out here...

Had to work for the fish but the size quality was worth work... I managed 8 keepers with a couple 10lb turkeys (only taking my legal limit). Jigama joe had 8 keepers as well... bunch of other guy had 4-6 keepers and a few had Less. Around 55 keepers in the box total and a few Ling... Around 10 -12 fish in the 8-14lb range and bunch of 4-6lb roasters... congrats to the guys with personal bests!!!

Nice seeing goods friends and making a few new ones!!!

Thanks Capt Kenny and Chris for the great day on the water!!! Give them a buzz They are sailing open boat and got spots available!!!

Also saw you had some good tog pointers in the recent issue of the Fisherman Magazine ... t^
