Title: LS4, shortest, successful trip of 2010
Post by: Luna Sea 5 on May 27, 2010, 12:52:21 PM
I convinced my brother, who usually gets sea sick, out for the hot striper action.

We get to my spot that produced 5 boat limits in a row.  I throw anchor.  I bait my brothers hook and throw it out.  The hook didn't even reach bottom and it was fish on.... 38" fat striper.  By the time I get the hook out of the fishes mouth, my brother was yacking.  I didn't even get my rod in the water.

I decided to go in the bay, but the damage was already done.

fishing time = less then 10 minutes.. results were at least a nice fish.

Now I have a full bushel of clams in my freezer for my next trips chum.

Uncle Luna.. you get your wish, at least 1 more clam trip..

Good try. Get your bro the patch for seasickness. I have several guys who use it and they swear by it.

You can also shuck them clams, salt them down and drop them for sea bass on the reef.  t^

Too bad for your brother.  At least he was on board with a friendly captain who was nice enough to take him in. t^

he even had to bust my chops, saying that he out fished me.. I was like.. I didn't even get my pole in the water.  He fishes for less then 10 minutes, catches a 38" striper, then calls it a day due to sickness.  I bought the bait, cleaned the boat, fillet the fish, didn't get a chance to wet my line, and he has dinner tonight..  5hrug
