Title: Tried fluking with the bad forecast
Post by: sealife on August 09, 2007, 06:55:01 PM
Heard NOAA saying that there would be some northeast and east wind today but too many times they have gotten it wrong so I gave it a try.  Well they got it right today.  Seas were building out of the NE pretty good when we broke the inlet and they continued to build.  Three over the bow and not holding bottom with 12OZ made it a short trip.  Hoping for next week to be better.

Still better than the guy broke down on the boat ramp with a bunk trailer.  He got in at low tide and needed to wait for the tide to turn and come up 1/2 way to get it back on the trailer.

Good try Dave.  I'm hoping the weekend weather will cooperate.
