Met up yesterday with my first client ever, which happens to be a member of this site (bowguide). PaddleBoat Charters is located in Franklin Twp, and we offer whole and half day trips for Largemouth bass on the wonderful Powdermill Pond. So the water was calm, no drift at all, maybe 1-2inchers. First drift Scotty tried his hang the worm and dangle technique from the overhanging tree, Nothing. We then get to my secret spot where I landed a nice Largemouth earlier in the season. Bam, a hook up, at least a 14lber, spit the worm in midair. Second drift I landed the pool winner in the picture below. After 30min I landed him, which was tough with no net. We prob. lost 4 or 5 10lb+ at the boat, no joke. Wind started to pick up, 2-3inchers now with the occassional 4-5in rollers. Scott gets the wifey call to come home, and we head back in full throttle. All in all it was a successfull first trip, if interested in my charter service pm me or Scotty (bowguide) who has also joined my elite team. Scott is also a guide for shoreline trips, see picture below of his trophy fish caught this year. Book now, these trips are filling up fast!
Thanks,
From Capt Brian and Scott t^

Thanks so much for turning me on to that untapped fishery. It was truly a blast LMAO the whole time.Maybe next time we will catch something big enough to use for bait! t^

Wow. That was pretty brave of you guys under those tough conditions, But you pushed through those 4-5's and turned a good day.
Congratz on a great day at sea on the pond TT^ ;D
-
You are right Hot rod those are some of the toughest conditions Ive fished in all year. One thing Brian forgot to mention .......Algae it really makes it tough on the engines of those paddleboats especially at docking time .It was a good thing Brian remembered to put the bumpers out

Wow, another miss-que from NOAA. How do we survive. I hope you didn't have to lash yourselves to the boat.
Nice catching for horrendous conditions.. TT^
