Pops Soul ventured out yesterday Saturday afternoon not really doing any serious fishing. Took notice of the commercial guys 3 boats working from a mile off of South Belmar, Spring Lake, SeaGirt, down to Manasquan. Working from a mile off the beach out to the reef and into the klondike. So everyone knows not to waste their time fluking the area. :-\

Hi Skip, thanks for the heads up on the radio with that info today. t^

Hate them.

Hi All,
They were pounding the area directly east of the Manasquan Inlet out 5 miles (basically between the Klondike and Manasquan Ridge). It looks like the Manasquan Ridge is next.
Ouch,
Capt. Ed

I know that there have been some bunker boats out in the area. They have been using spotter planes aswell...
Last week, I did notice, as well as Capt. Allen on Reel Class, a dragger south around SeaSide working to Ortley But, they were right up against the beach to 3/4 mile off.
I am not sure either way but all I know is these guys are going to have the season closed on us...DOn't believe me, read John Geiser's report in Sundays Sports Section in the APP.
I will say... if it comes down to that, The Jolly Roger goes up high on the mast!
