Title: Labor Day Weekend in Mass
Post by: crabcake on September 04, 2007, 08:11:12 PM
Started our trip on Saturday with a 1/2 day charter in Quincy Bay for stripers with Capt. Jason Colby.  In short, we slammed 30-40" bass using clam baits, keeping our limit for the BBQ.  On Saturday night into Sunday, we fished on the Yankee Capt's Haddock special which was OK, but would have been much better if it wasn't for the dogs.  Overall, it was a great guys weekend away which was perfect ending to the Summer.

The weather was indeed great for most of our trip.  The ride out on the overnight trip was a bit bumpy which caused a novice to puke all over the bunkroom.  It was a quick reminder to how much I prefer small charters to party boat trips.  (even though I still love head boat fishing)
