Headed down to the boat after work today got on the water around 5pm.
Plenty of peanut bunker at my marina.....One shot with the net and had plenty of bait(had to let more then half the net out).
The wind was out of the south east this eve. headed into the wind, first drift nothing.
Next aera to fish was back in the bay....Marked lot's of fish, but they did not want to bite.........I managed to catch two fish, one 20 1/2" and the second at 18".
I was fishing with a three way 2' dropper and 18" 17# floro leader with a #4 red octo. hook.
Ohh well it was not a bad eve. on the water.
Good Luck to all fishing this weekend.

Nice job Young Gull on your weak trip :P

its nice to see that they might be coming it.. I may give them a try... Did you use just the peanuts, or did you use worms as well
-
Nick,
I did drop down a worm. The fluke were hitting the worms so I raised up my dropper and just fished peanuts.......Match the hatch kind of thing.
I just could not figure out why they did not want the worm?
BTW.....Bolth fish had empty belly's 5hrug
thants very strange, I am surprised they where empty with all that bait around. I am sure with in the next week or so, we will be able to get some answers...
