I was wading down the south branch yesterday around 2 pm. I started on a bad note at my lil spot where i flip rocks for crawfish i slipped and slammed my lower back on a rock boy did that feel great! I procceded to come by a deep pool on the side of the river with a tree half submered. I was about five or so feet away from it when i spooked, and i am not exagerateing, a small mouth at least six pounds. he hung around just long enough that i could cast once at him but he was already spooked and took off. As i type i am getting my gear ready to head back over the that area and hopefully get him. I conviently had no work today YAY!!

So after targeting this fish for the past couple weeks I finally hooked up nearly spolled. Start gaining some line back than it would run back out. I fought it for about 3 to five min when the hooked pulled about 4 ft from the shore. U got to get a good look at her so I am still happy a picture would have made me happier by hey that's fishing!!
