Made our way out today to the ridge. Weather was no where even close to being right. Real tight slop on the way out at a slow pace.
Hit up the mahi pot for nothing, then went SE towards some lumps and wrecks. Found very little life and marks. Did find some bait with a pair of small sharks harassing it, but they didn't want anything I threw at them. A scalloper was working the area, and trolled up behind him for a zero. Tried jigging a couple marks I was able to find, but that was a no-go also.
Ride back in wasn't to bad and made some ground quickly, stopping here and there to throw bucktails at balloons and a single pot marker.
Water's there but not the life to write home about. I knew it was a long shot, but someones got to be the first to score inshore.

Nice try, Greg! I think we shall name you Ponce De Leon for all of your exploring!

Can't catch them from the couch, unless its a deck couch I guess then it could happen
I'll be out of the game for abit after these past 2 weeks. Made last weekends and todays trip off one tank of fuel. Still sitting at 1/4 tank, but gonna be 90gals to top it back off cfzd,, not looking forward to that one.,,,,, although, the boat right next to me on my starboard is full,,,, might need like a 15' hose. ;D
