just returned from a week of salmon fishing on lake Ontario.we fished out of wrights landing in Oswego.fishing was on the slow side but putting in long hours we put together some nice catches.our best day was 24hits landing 8 kings to 31 lbs.we fished in 120fow down 75-90ft.our best flashers were mountain dew and white with green dot.the white glo fly and the hammer fly were the best.my cousin liz from florida had a great time and landed 2 over 30lbs

How are the accommodations up that way? Lodge, motel/hotel or did you camp?

Each year is different
Last year they started Labor day weekend.
2011 was like the 3rd week of Sept.

we stay at the rainbow trout lodge or k&g lodge in Oswego.the fish were being caught in the salmon river already.the salmon river is the best bet for river fishing.

I see the whale's tail on the sign behind you. Did you spot any whales while you were there or is it only during certain seasons?
